2024 IAAH International Conference 

Creativity in Education

The International Association of Arts and Humanities (IAAH) is thrilled to announce the 2024 International Conference on Creativity in Education. This essential gathering aims to explore the transformative power of creativity in educational settings across various age groups and educational roles. The conference will serve as a dynamic platform for educators, artists, policymakers, and researchers to examine how integrating the arts into education can profoundly impact student learning, promote critical thinking, and foster emotional intelligence.

As we delve into the intersections of creativity, social justice, inclusion, and cultural exchange, the conference will highlight innovative strategies and best practices for incorporating creativity into the curriculum. This will not only focus on enhancing the educational experience for students but also on empowering educators from diverse backgrounds to reimagine their teaching methodologies.

The 2024 IAAH International Conference on Creativity in Education will be held from November 15-18, 2024. Participants will be able to attend it online. The conference will be conducted in a virtual format and is free for all IAAH members to apply for and attend.

Call for Proposals

We invite thought leaders, educators, artists, and researchers to submit their proposals and share their expertise on a range of compelling topics related to creativity in education. Potential themes and topics include, but are not limited to:

  • Creativity Across Different Educational Stages: How can creativity be effectively integrated at various educational levels, from early childhood to higher education? Explore age-appropriate creative strategies and their impacts.

  • Role of Educators in Creative Education: Discuss the evolving role of educators in fostering creativity. How can teachers, administrators, and educational leaders become catalysts for creative learning?

  • Creativity and Social Justice: Examine how creative education can be a tool for social justice, addressing issues of equity, inclusion, and diversity in educational settings.

  • Inclusive Practices in Arts Education: Share innovative approaches to make arts education more inclusive, ensuring access and engagement for students from all backgrounds.

  • Cultural Exchange through Creative Education: Highlight successful programs and initiatives that use the arts as a bridge for cultural exchange and understanding among diverse student populations.

  • Workshop and Interactive Sessions: Proposals for workshops that offer practical, hands-on experiences for attendees to learn new creative teaching techniques and tools.

 

Submission Guidelines

  • Abstracts: Submit an abstract of up to 300 words outlining the research question, methodology, and preliminary or expected findings.

  • Workshops and Panels: Proposals for workshops or panel discussions should include a list of participants and a brief description of the session's goals and structure.

 

Presentation Formats

Given the digital focus of the conference, all presentations will be delivered online. Presenters can opt for live presentations, posters, or pre-recorded sessions, which will be available on the conference platform. Panel discussions will be scheduled to allow for real-time interaction and audience engagement.
